FAQ about gym membership

…I’m nervous that I won’t be able to keep up with the rest of the group?

Before you participate in your first session, we meet with you to discuss your goals, current fitness level and schedule. By doing this, we’re able to appropriately place you in the sessions that are the best fit for you.
If you haven’t exercised in a while, we may even suggest our four-week small group program that will get you feeling confident before you begin working out in the class format.

…I don't have a lot of time?

Getting fit with Lift Life doesn’t take a huge time commitment. We pack a lot into a small amount of time. Because our workouts are designed to be efficient, you can get a full strength training workout and be in and out in 30 minutes. So if you have a 30-minute window 2-3 times a week, you have time.
It’s also important to point out that taking time for yourself is an essential part of making long term positive habit changes.

FAQ about weight lifting sessions
Working out after injury

…I have an injury?

We have a really thorough assessment process. When you come in, we’ll learn all about any issues affecting your physical health during our initial Success Session. Then we can come up with a program to work around any injuries.
If you go it alone, you may risk aggravating an injury. Our trainers are certified and knowledgable about healthy injury recovery. And the good news is, a good strength training program should actually help in your healing process.

…I'm training for a race?

Did you know that pro runners incorporate strength training into their workouts? They know that if you’re a runner, strength training can make you even better.
Those muscles that help you run don’t get stronger by running more. They get stronger when you lift weights. A Lift Life strength training program will help make those running muscles stronger and make you an even more efficient runner.
